3.3 Location Data. We may collect approximate location (for search relevance) and exact location (only if you allow it). Used for showing nearby properties and displaying maps.

3.4 Mtaani & Business Data. If you list a business, we collect business name, contact details, service descriptions, and location information.

3.5 AI Interaction Data. We may collect search queries, preferences, and interaction patterns to improve recommendations, search results, and user experience.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide and improve the Platform, match users with relevant properties/businesses, enable communication between users, prevent fraud and enhance safety, personalize content and recommendations, analyze usage trends, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Under applicable laws, we process data based on consent (e.g., location tracking), contractual necessity (providing services), legal obligations, and legitimate interests (fraud prevention, platform improvement).

6.1 Other Users. We may share your listings and contact information (when necessary).

6.2 Service Providers. Including hosting providers, analytics tools, and payment processors (future). These parties are contractually obligated to protect your data.

6.3 Legal Authorities. We may disclose data if required by law, to prevent fraud or crime, or to protect user safety.

We retain your data as long as your account is active and as needed for legal and operational purposes. We may delete or anonymize data when no longer needed.
